ABOUT THE HUNT
Experience an exclusive 3-day rifle hunt for trophy pronghorn antelope on 30,000 acres of private land at the renowned JLJ Ranch, located south of Santa Rosa, New Mexico.
This property sits in NMDGF Game Unit 40, known for producing record-class antelope ranging from the mid-70s to over 80 inches, with a few bucks pushing 87 inches.
The winner will enjoy one-on-one professional guide service, comfortable lodging in Fort Sumner, and hearty home-cooked meals throughout the hunt.
Every detail of this adventure is designed to deliver a world-class experience, from spotting antelope across the rolling plains to capping your trophy for transport.
Hunt dates will take place in October 2026, arranged directly with Rocky Top Hunting Services to ensure the best timing for antelope movement and weather.

Safari Club International (SCI) is dedicated to defending the freedom to hunt and promoting wildlife conservation worldwide. Through science-based wildlife management, global collaboration, and government accountability, SCI champions ethical hunting and the protection of wildlife habitats for future generations.
The Northern New Mexico Chapter carries this mission forward at the local level. As a volunteer-led organization, the chapter raises funds through community events that support advocacy, education, humanitarian efforts, and conservation projects. Seventy percent of all funds raised remain in the chapter to directly benefit local initiatives and outdoor programs.
